Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Performance Audit
TransTech Management was just awarded a contract to perform a performance audit of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit ("DART".) DART is a regional transportation authority of the State of Texas created to build and operate a transportation system. There are currently 13 member jurisdictions that voted to be in DART, including the cities of: Carrollton, Cockrell Hill, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Garland, Glenn Heights, Irving, Plano, Richardson, Rowlett, and University Park; and the towns of Addison and Highland Park. These jurisdictions are located within five counties: Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Denton, and Rockwall. The DART Service Area is 700 square miles with a population exceeding 1.8 million people..

North Texas Turnpike Authority Organizational Assessment
TransTech Management recently completed a review of work processes, competencies, and organizational structure at the North Texas Turnpike Authority (NTTA.) The NTTA, a political subdivision of the State of Texas under Chapter 366 of the Transportation Code, is empowered to acquire, construct, maintain, repair and operate turnpike projects; to raise capital for construction projects through the issuance of Turnpike Revenue Bonds; and to collect tolls to operate, maintain and pay debt service on those projects.

Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Organizational Assessment
TransTech Management recently completed an organizational assessment of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV.) TxDMV consists of a professional staff of 647 authorized positions assigned to 10 division-level units and 32 individual sections within those divisions. As of mid-May, 2010, 508 of these authorized positions were filled. Services are provided through the Department's headquarters in Austin and in 16 regional offices across the State.

Santa Clara Valley Water Authority Fleet Review
TransTech Management recently submitted a final draft for a fleet review of the Santa Clara Water Authority (SCVWD,) the largest water district is the State of California. Review areas included agency transportation practices, fleet sizing and replacement practices, utilization, shop staffing and costs, fueling practices, and overall fleet costs.

Los Angeles World Airports Fleet Review
TransTech Management recently submitted its final draft for a review of the fleet operations for the Los Angeles World Airports organization, which includes the fleets and equipment operated by the LAX, PNT and PNY facilities. Review areas included the overall fleet organization structure, vehicle replacement standards and compliance levels, parts room and fuel operations, shop safety and security, facilities layout and adequacy among other areas.

South Jersey Transportation Authority Management Audit
TransTech Management recently completed a major management audit of the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA.) The SJTA owns and operates the Atlantic City Expressway, the Atlantic City International Airport, related parking facilities and transit routes.

City of Los Angles, General Service Division Fleet Review
TransTech Management recently submitted its final report on its fleet review of the City of Los Angeles General Services Division fleet review. This project involved a "right-sizing" review of the 10,000+ unit City of Los Angeles General Service Fleet and identify appropriate shop staffing for the recommended fleet size. TransTech performed the shop staffing analysis and assisted in the utilization review.

Hoke County, NC Community Transportation (Transit) Service Improvement Plan Update
TransTech Management is currently part of a team that is preparing an update of the Community Transportation Service Plan (CTSP) for Hoke County, NC. This project includes reviewing the current performance and organizational direction of the transit system and recommending alternative strategies of operating or managing that increase mobility options for passengers and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization and transportation services.

Maryland Transit Administration Task Order Engagement
TransTech Management is performing a series of task order projects for the Maryland Transit Administration procurement entitled, "Policy, Business and Transit Management Services." This task order-type contract is potentially multi-millions in fees and multi-years in duration. We will examine the agency's administration and operations with respect to cost efficiencies, goal attainment, and effectiveness. Considerations may include management layers, resource allocation, organizational goals and objectives, redundancy of functions, unit effectiveness, uniformity of approach or methodology, interrelationships of functions, skill matrix analysis and review of labor contract provisions.
